1. What do these Terms apply to?

These Terms apply to your use of the Services, including when you:

• message or interact with Skye on messaging platforms (such as WhatsApp or Telegram);
• create or update a matching profile;
• post, browse, apply for, accept, coordinate, or complete gigs;
• visit our websites, forms, or landing pages; or
• communicate with us for support, feedback, or operational reasons.

2. Key definitions

• Services: Lythe’s platform and related features, including Skye and any websites/forms we operate.
• Skye: Lythe’s AI agent interface used for onboarding, matching, and coordination.
• Gig: A task, job, assignment, event role, project, or short-term work opportunity made available through the Services.
• Messaging Platforms: Third-party messaging services used to communicate with Skye (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram).
• Content: Any messages, text, images, files, listings, profile details, feedback, or other materials submitted through the Services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age required to provide valid consent in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with appropriate permission.

Certain gigs or features may have additional requirements (e.g., minimum age, right-to-work, or venue rules). You are responsible for ensuring you meet any applicable requirements.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, transfer, and protect personal data in connection with the Services, including Skye and Messaging Platforms. By using the Services, you acknowledge you have read and understand the Privacy Policy.

5. Using Skye and AI features

Skye may use automated and AI-enabled systems to interpret your messages, extract information (such as skills and availability), and suggest matches or next steps. AI is not perfect and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

You agree to verify important details before acting on them, including gig location, timing, pay, and safety arrangements.

6. Accounts and communications

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You also agree that we may send you service-related messages (e.g., confirmations, reminders, and policy updates) via the channels you use to access the Services.

If you want to stop receiving messages, tell Skye "stop" or contact us. We will take reasonable steps to stop non-essential messages.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights;
• request, offer, or coordinate illegal activity;
• harass, threaten, discriminate, or abuse others;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity;
• share personal data of others without permission;
• spam users or attempt to manipulate matching outcomes;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts; or
• upload malicious code or harmful content.

We may remove content, limit distribution, or suspend/terminate access for violations.

8. Gigs and marketplace terms

Lythe helps connect users to gigs. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing for a specific program, Lythe is not an employer, staffing agency, or recruiter. Gig Posters and Gig Doers are responsible for the gig terms between them.

Lythe does not guarantee that any gig will be available, suitable, safe, or paid.

9. Content you submit

You retain ownership of your Content. You grant Lythe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and processing), process, and display your Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Services (including matching and coordination).

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the Content and that it is lawful and not misleading.

10. Intellectual property

The Services, including Skye workflows, branding, and software, are owned by Lythe or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Services except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

11. Third-party services

The Services may rely on third-party providers (including messaging platforms, hosting, analytics, AI processing, or mapping). Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for others, or engaged in fraud or abuse. You may stop using the Services at any time.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lythe disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Lythe does not guarantee outcomes, including successful matches, payment, or performance by any user.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lythe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lythe’s total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of S$100 or the amount you paid Lythe (if any) in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lythe and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you through the Services.
